Palma Vecchio modernized and regenerated Venetian paintings from the sixteenth century. He specialize in women, clothed or nude. Painted either the women is half- length or in a recumbent poses.
Cupid is the little child next to Venus, some time in the painting history the child was painted in the 1970s after it was uncovered during the restoration time. Many believe that a Northern artist may have helped to finished Palma Vecchio art work after his death. Many notice the warm flesh tone and the landscape.
